Is Cha-am suitable for families? |

Yes. It most certainly is. Cha-am is very much a Thai style resort and it has kept most of its thai charm. Families are at the heart of Thai life so it's the perfect family retreat!
There are plenty of restaurants - expecially seafood- and there are some excellent hotels. Recently a new 5 star hotel was opened on the main beach front. Cha-am is family friendly - there are a few hostess bars but these are confined to one area known as the Plaza. You would not even know it was there and its hard to find it - even if you are looking. The biggest problem your kids are going to have is the attention they will get - especially if they have blonde hair. |
